Athletics Opportunities
While Ebenezer Christian Academy does not offer competitive high school sports, students may participate in athletics through their assigned homeschool.
If you are unsure of your homeschool, you can look it up here: Miami School Search.
To participate, contact the Athletics Director at your homeschool for details on tryouts, insurance, and physicals.
If you wish to play at a school other than your homeschool, you must complete the EL-14 form and obtain approval from the South Region (18180 SW 122 Ave., Miami, FL 33177).

- Transfer Memo Form
- EL-14 Form (only if playing at a non-homeschool, must be region-approved)

Even without competitive sports, Ebenezer Christian Academy offers a variety of athletic activities that encourage health, teamwork, and discipline:

Community Service Requirements
Community service is an essential part of the student experience at Ebenezer Christian Academy and is required by the Miami-Dade County School Board for graduation. Students must complete a minimum of 150 hours in a high-quality service project.
Approved Community Service Sites Include:
- Non-profit organizations
- Government agencies
- Schools
- Hospitals
- Retirement homes or organizations
- Services for elderly or disabled individuals
Hours may not be earned through political campaigns, family businesses, or paid work.
Documentation Process:
- Record all hours on the Activity Log Form.
- Attach an official verification letter on organizational letterhead.
- Write an essay summarizing your experience, addressing:
- Why you chose the organization
- The main activities you performed
- The impact of your project on the community
Submission Deadlines:
- The Community Service Packet must be signed by a parent/guardian.
- Submit the completed packet to Mr. Moyse in the Activities Office by the beginning of April of your Junior year to ensure hours appear on transcripts for college applications.
- Freshmen and Sophomores may also submit completed packets earlier.
