What are the new enrollment procedures at Ebenezer Christian Academy?
Enrollment begins with submitting a Student Application, which can be picked up at our main office or downloaded online. Parents must then provide supporting documents, including health and immunization records, a birth certificate, withdrawal forms, and achievement scores. After forms and fees are submitted, families schedule an interview, a school tour, and an assessment test. Once everything is completed and reviewed, parents are notified of the final decision.
What documents are required for new or returning students?
Parents enrolling students for the first time, or re-enrolling after an absence of one or more semesters, must submit:
- Student Health Examination (DH3040)
- Florida Certificate of Immunization (DH680)
- Birth certificate
- Withdrawal form from the previous school
- Achievement scores (e.g., SAT results)
- IEP Plan (if applicable)
- Proof of residence
- Social Security numbers for both parent and child
- Proof of income (Child Support or Employment)
Is there an assessment test for new students?
Yes. All newly enrolled students are required to take an assessment test to determine academic skill level. The test helps ensure proper placement and is scheduled by appointment only.
When and how are interviews and school tours scheduled?
Interviews and school tours take place after all required documentation has been submitted. They are scheduled by appointment only and give families the opportunity to meet faculty, ask questions, and learn more about the academy’s programs.
When will parents be notified of enrollment decisions?
After all forms, fees, interviews, and assessments are complete, the administration reviews the application. Parents are then contacted directly with the final decision. This process ensures that every student’s academic and personal needs are carefully considered before enrollment is confirmed.
What are the requirements for high school transfer students?
Admission and transfer decisions depend on academic progress. Sophomore and Junior applicants must have completed specific credits before registering at Ebenezer Christian Academy:
- Sophomore – Algebra I, English I, Biology, Social Studies
- Junior – Geometry, English II, Physical Science, Social Studies
